Albert’s active life
In 1988, Prince Albert was appointed President of the Organizing Committee of the Monte Carlo Television Festival, held annually in the Principality in February, to which hundreds of television experts come. Here his interest in communications and technological innovations taking place in this industry is fully manifested.
Albert had to solve another important problem. For a long time, the principality appeared on the black list of the international commission on combating money laundering. The Principality has gained fame as an offshore zone, where billions of dollars flowed from financial fraud around the world. The Country Grace Kelly Created
On April 19, 1956, Hollywood actress Grace Kelly married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco. This date was the beginning of the heyday of the principality. After the marriage of Prince Rainier to a Hollywood movie star, the inconspicuous and gradually fading Monaco turned into the center of European social life and one of the most expensive countries in the world.
I was relaxing in Nice in one of the hotels near the Anglais promenade, from where I raided nearby villages, famous for something or someone, or just seemed to me worthy of attention for no apparent reason. So, Cannes was honored with a visit because of the film festival, Grass – as the perfumery capital of the world, Bridget Bardot lives in Saint-Tropez, and Cap-Ferrat – the most beautiful place of Cote d’Ajour, here lived Baroness Rothschild, Churchill, Isadora Duncan and the king Leopold II Belgian. Monte Carlo Golf Club
This club is located in France, on Mount Mont-Agel 900 meters above sea level; its site includes 18 holes on 71, with a total length of 5,667 m. It is a private golf club, uniting about 400 members of various associations. Here, anyone can freely play golf throughout the day.

Monaco Yacht Show
Monaco annually hosts a significant event in the world of the yachting industry – a yacht show. Only luxury yachts take part in it, so for those who are not members of the list of billionaires, the role of the audience in the luxury museum is exclusively for them. In 2009, the Monaco Yacht Show was held from September 19 to 22, and gathered a lot of eminent and wealthy people from around the world. The largest representatives of yachting – designers, entrepreneurs and athletes also gathered.
But the global financial and economic crisis has affected the luxury yacht show. Which, however, is not surprising, because in the global shipbuilding market the global crisis lasted a whole year, and the market is just beginning to recover from such a blow. Continue reading
