Among the nine new productions performed by Gunsburg in his first season, of course, the world premiere of the stage version of Berlioz’s dramatic legend “Condemnation of Faust”, held on February 18, was the most important. This production was proof of the outstanding talent and courage of the Gunsburg director. It is known that the plot of “Faust” is replete with all sorts of fantastic and mystical moments. Gunsburg masterfully used these motifs to create a spectacle that was magnificent in its technical achievements. In front of the audience, the scenery was transforming, inventive lighting created illusions of all kinds of visions and transformations. I also remember the photo session near the monument to the black monk, the symbol of Monaco. I no longer remember this story and do not want to turn to Google. But she remained in her memory as something surprising and interesting. We start wandering around souvenir shops, already almost imagining what we want to bring from here, and what you will not find in any store – a piece of beautiful life.
